THE FIRST BOOK

He publishes his first book of drawings in « Les Chefs-d’œuvre du dessin », the « Drawing Masterpieces » series by Planète publishers. Louis Pauwels writes a preface for the book, in which he says about its author: « We both shy away from childhood memories, we both live without a past, we both erase dates and places, in search of taking root elsewhere. Uncertain studies, a kind of social wandering. An inherent, medium-like behavior. And, in the way we manage our lives as well as our work, this sentence by Meyrink, whose instruction is common to both of us: ‘What matters is not what we look at, but it’s the place, in ourselves, from where we look.’ »
