Michel Laclos (1926- )

Michel Laclos is the editor of Bizarre. His reputation is firmly established in March 1960 when he publishes a special issue of present-day authors’ ‘shameful’ drawings, all those refused by publishers and editors. This issue establishes Bizarre’s originality straightaway. As a result, being published in it was a sign of daring and innovation for an author. For Jean Gourmelin, it represents a beginning and a sign of entry into the major league. He can now be more daring, the sky’s the limit!
